Lakeside Products Acquires Kinn Inc. Kleanbowl

BIG NEWS FROM LAKESIDE PRODUCTS!

We’re excited to announce the acquisition and integration of Kinn Inc. into Lakeside Products!
Kinn Inc. is the developer and manufacturer of the Kinn Kleanbowl; a unique frame and disposable bowl system for Happy, Healthy Pets.

This is about more than adding products, it’s about expanding what Lakeside can do for the people and businesses who care for dogs.

  • More solutions for our existing customers.
  • A new focus on dog daycare & boarding.
  • More products for breeders, pet owners, hunters, veterinarians and professional pet-care businesses.

Kinn brings products and expertise that naturally complement the Lakeside family. Together, we can serve more of the dog-care journey—from birth and puppyhood through adulthood and senior years, and from the family home to the daycare, kennel and boarding facility.

For our existing Lakeside customers, this means access to more products, more solutions and more ways to get what you need from a company you already know and trust.

For the dog daycare and boarding industry, it means Lakeside is expanding its commitment to helping professional pet-care businesses address the everyday challenges of safety, containment, sanitation, organization and durability.

We’re proud of where Lakeside has come from and even more excited about where we’re going.

Kinn + Lakeside = More ways to care for dogs.

What is the Kinn Kleanbowl?

The Kinn Kleanbowl is a revolutionary, two-part hybrid feeding system developed in collaboration with veterinarians. It pairs a heavy-duty, skid-proof outer frame with disposable, single-use interior liners. Instead of washing a dirty dish after every meal, you simply lift out the used insert and replace it with a fresh one in less than five seconds.

 Health-First, Slime-Free Feeding

Many pet owners do not realize that traditional plastic, ceramic, and even stainless steel pet bowls are notorious breeding grounds for bacteria. Over time, scratches in these materials harbor a slippery, bacterial matrix called biofilm. Standard hand-washing and dishwashers often fail to get hot enough to completely sanitize these hidden grooves, contributing to pet bad breath, dental disease, and internal infections.

The Kleanbowl changes the equation entirely. By providing a 100% sterile, germ-free surface for every single meal, it proactively protects your pet’s health. It positions hygiene as the ultimate priority, ensuring your pet's food and water always taste entirely fresh.

What Makes It Completely Different?

  • 100% Compostable Sugarcane Fiber: Unlike wasteful plastic alternatives, Kleanbowl refills are made from molded sugarcane fiber. They are entirely plant-based, plastic-free, BPA-free, and fully biodegradable. You get the convenience of a single-use bowl with zero environmental guilt.

  • Germ-Free for Picky Eaters: Dogs and cats have highly sensitive senses of smell. Picky eaters and finicky drinkers often reject bowls because of lingering bacterial odors. The Kleanbowl ensures a pristine taste that pets love.

  • Zero-Scrub Convenience: It completely eliminates the daily chore of soaking, scrubbing, and bleaching pet bowls.

  • Spill-Proof Security: The durable outer frame locks the liner securely in place, preventing playful pets from flipping their food or sliding the bowl across the floor.
